Jay's Diecast Garage

This is a restoration i did a while ago, in July i think. Since i don't have a mint or even a decent shaped Majorette BMW 3.0 in my collection, i decided to make one for myself. This is what i started with: Heavily worn but quite intact car to begin with. After disassembly i discovered that the interior was sunburnt and the front axle was bent. Luckily i had this miserable looking beater. It still had a decent interior so i ended up using it. After thorough cleaning, straightening the front axle and painting this is the result. I'm pretty satisfied with it :)

New life given to this Chevy Citation by Yatming. Car was pretty decent to start with, it looked worse than it actually was with all the marker covering it. Kept the original wheels, cleaned out glasses and painted the body. Yat another car saved :)

Bought a big bunch (176) of used Hot Wheels cars. These two are some of the nicer cars included and both are new to my collection.

Finally found this one :) Only had the red one before.

Just bought this nice mint BMW M3 made by Corgi! Still gotta find a beater to customize :)

In my opinion this is one of the best Volvo 245 castings in 1/64 scale. Corgi made one too, but i think that was pretty hideous...

Nice Hot Wheels casting of '88-'91 Honda Civic. This is otherwise original, i just detailed lights on it.

This is a Matchbox casting i like very much. There are two body styles, this earlier one has stock bumpers, grille and headlights. Later model with Pepsi Challenger tampos. It also has bigger rear spoiler. Both versions are nice.
